Community Action Network (C.A.N.) is a very special part of St. James’ School.
Let me tell you a bit more about it….
We are a group of people who live or work in the local area who work together to improve our community.
We are made up of teachers, children, the community police, the church and other faith groups, residents and local business people.
The kind of things we get up to are….
Inviting people from the local care homes to come to school for AFTERNOON TEA! …. Then children chat with the guests and entertainthem with singing and dancing!
If you have heard about GORTON’S GOT TALENT….. That ‘s us too!.
